Memorial Weekend

We took the boys up to WI to Shannons Aunts for Memorial Day! It was so nice to see everyone!!! The weather was perfect and while Great Grandma had Victor, Vincent loved playing at the park!!! Tho, I think he got a little sick on the merry-go-round!

Before my Nephew and Niece arrived.....My parents were able to come for a quick visit the day we got home from the hospital! Vincent was so excited to see Papa and Grammy! He LOVES them so much!!!

I was so worried about bringing Victor home and seeing the reaction I would get from Vincent. Would he be mad? Jealous? Act out? We are truely blessed that he has NOT done any of that....yet. He is so willing to help and always wants to hold his BICTOR! He is a great Big brother!!!

So Shannon asked me what all to put in the diaper bag. As I just looked at him and said, "You've been packing it for almost 3 years......then I was interrupted by Vincent saying, " No mommy! You have 2 EARS!! hahahaha

Babies Babies Babies!

With all the excitement of Victor, I forgot to let you all know that I also became an AUNT!!!! Finally I am an Aunt! Nothing ever goes as planned with the Jacob girls! My older sister Jill was due on August 11... MY BIRTHDAY!!.... But her feisty little boy wanted to come out and play! Jill also had complications with her pregnancy which made the doctors have to deliver little Noah J 10wks early. We welcomed Noah one June 3rd 2010. He was a peanut! He weighted less than 2 1/2lbs and he was 15". As of right now he is gaining weight!!! He is up to 2.12lbs! Whoo hoo!!! Keep it up Noah! Mommy and Daddy need you home!!! So, a month after Victor was born, here comes Noah. The fun doesnt stop there....... My younger sister Lindsay was due June 25th. Well.... Little miss Emma Marie also wanted to play! Lindsays water broke on June7th and Emma was welcomed on June 8th!! She also was a little thing! 5lbs 11oz and 19"! THATS RIGHT! 3 babies in 4 WEEKS!!! I think my parents are going crazy!!!! It is KILLING me not being able to see all of them! But I am able to go in July for a week . I CANT WAIT :)

Victor Jacob

Our second son arrive May 4Th 2010. He was 7lbs 8oz 19" . I was induced at 37wks. We went to the hospital at 5am. I was started on pitocine right away. I was thinking it was going to take a long time seeing how Vincent took forever to make his grand entrance! I received my Epidural at 11am.... which only worked for 30 mins then just kept my right leg numb and NOTHING ELSE. I got the go ahead to start pushing at 12:47pm and with ONE contraction and ONE push later, Victor Jacob entered the world at 12:50pm!

2010

It has been a long time since I have updated our blog. A lot has happened already for 2010!!! It has been a fun and exciting time already. The most exciting part about this year so far is that we welcomed our 2nd son Victor Jacob to the world! Altho my pregnancy was not enjoyable nor would I want to go through it again. The outcome is worth it! I am not sure why, but pregnancy and me do not mix well. Kinda like Oil and water. Again I was Preeclamptic and had to deliver Victor 3wks early. Thank God everything went good and we are both healthy. :)
Due to my condition during and after delivery,we have desided that it is for the best that we do not have anymore children. It is really hard for me to cope with that but I want to enjoy my 2 boys as much as I can and not have to worry about another bad pregnancy. With that said..... We are enjoying Vincent and Victor SO SO much! I will try to update as much as I can. I have TONS of pictures to share!!!
